Calendar sync help

Keep your Bukisha Stays calendar in step with other sites. The step-by-step guides are in the app, under Calendar sync.

Questions and answers

Why do I need to set up both directions?

One direction blocks nights booked on the other site here on Bukisha. The other blocks nights booked on Bukisha on the other site. Without both, the same night can be booked twice.

How quickly do dates update?

Bukisha reads each linked calendar about every 30 minutes. Other sites read your Bukisha link on their own schedule, often every few hours, and Bukisha cannot speed that up. A very recent booking can still clash.

What can someone with my Bukisha link see?

Only which nights are taken, each shown as Not available. They cannot see who booked, or the price.

What if my link is shared by mistake?

Open Calendar sync for that listing and press Make a new link. The old link stops working at once. Then paste the new link into every site that had the old one.

What happens if a site's calendar stops working?

Its last dates stay blocked, so they cannot be double booked, but new ones may be missing. Calendar sync shows the problem, and you are told if it lasts a day. Copy a fresh link from that site, remove the old calendar and add the new link.

What happens if another site's dates overlap a Bukisha booking?

The Bukisha booking keeps its nights, and you are told once in the app and by email. Sort it out on the other site, or cancel one of the two.
