Guests pay in the app by M-Pesa or by card, international cards included. You never handle the money or cash.
“A guest cancelled, and now we argue about the refund.”
Your place has one of three cancellation policies, shown before booking. The app works out the refund by that policy and shows it to the guest before they cancel.
“They never turned up.”
From noon the day after check-in you can mark a no-show. The nights come back to your calendar, and there is no refund for them.

Before you start
What does it cost?
10% of each successful payment, plus the payment provider's fee (1.5% for M-Pesa, 2.9% for Kenyan cards, 3.8% for international cards), taken from your share. No set-up fee and no monthly fee.
When am I paid?
Your share of each payment is paid to your account automatically, two working days after the guest pays.
What do I need?
Your identity verified with Bukisha's ID check, your KRA PIN, and a bank account or M-Pesa number for your payouts. For a business name, the business's documents if we ask for them.
I already rent homes out on Bukisha. Do I start again?
No. Start hosting from your account in the app: one ID check covers both, and your buildings are already there.
